FAQ's

What if I don’t finish setting up my registry now?
No problem! As you go, you may realise that you want to add more products anyway -- especially if you check in on your registry and discover most of the items have been purchased. Your registry is available online 24/7, so you can add to it whenever you feel like it.

Can I have more than one registry?
Absolutely! There are many reasons to have a registry, including baby showers, birthdays, christenings and holidays. As long as each registry has a different name, you can have as many as you'd like.

Will I get duplicates?
Sometimes you'll get a duplicate gift but don’t worry will happily exchange it for something else of the same value.

Do's and Dont's
Do register.
Everyone wants to be a good gift-giver, and when you're working from a registry, you can't go wrong. (It also cuts down on those "What were they thinking?" presents.)

Do start four or five months before you're due.
Starting early gives you plenty of time to consider your choices and change your mind. It also allows for proper lead time on larger items and special orders. Besides, you'll be glad you got it taken care of if the baby comes early.

Do choose items with a wide range of prices to accommodate all budgets.
Unlike bridal registries, it's typical for a baby registry to have a lot of smaller items and everyday essentials. And don't be afraid to include some splurges: You never know when friends or family might want to go in together on a gift!

Don't keep your registry a secret.
We  have an e-mail template so you can send notifications from our Web site.

If everything's been snapped up already, great! Feel free to add some more options to give your guests plenty to choose from. Besides, we're always adding great new products that you might want to consider.

Don't feel bad about returning gifts that are duplicates or that weren't exactly what you wanted.
This is about what you want. (Most people won't know the difference, anyway!) And if you should need to return something, our return policy makes it easy.

Registry etiquette
How acceptable is it for me to create a baby registry?
You will be amazed at how many gifts you receive from people who want to share this exciting time with you and your family. Creating a Baby Registry enables your friends and family to select a gift they can be sure you will love.

What items should I include on my baby registry?
Most people register for a variety of items including, furniture, feeding equipment, bedding, buggies, clothing and toys, that will span the first two years of your baby's life. Be sure to have items to suit different budgets and the fact that some people may want to contribute to a group gift and include items that cover a range of prices.
In addition to registering for newborn items, we recommend that you add items to your registry that are appropriate for your baby's first two years. You will be amazed at how quickly your baby will grow and develop.

When should I register?
We recommend creating your Baby Registry  two to three months before your due date or other event date. This allows family and friends enough time to purchase gifts before the event, and also allows for order times for bigger items such as furniture.

How acceptable is it for me to create a registry for my child's birthday or other special event?
Everyone who gives a gift hopes that the gift will be appreciated and cherished. But buying gifts for children can be tricky - especially for friends and family who do not have children themselves. With toys, for example, it can be difficult to know what the child already has, which toys the child is developmentally ready for or which type of toys the child really enjoys. Registering gift preferences enables people to select a gift they can be sure your child will love.
